The tryout system[Link]

The Tryout System mirrors the Live System and is used to deploy new functionality: When a next release is pending, the Tryout System may contain new features not (yet) available on the Live System.

As a registrar, you may create 2 test accounts. Please contact our support staff to set up your test accounts.

The reduced public website is your starting point.

Test data[Link]

On the Tryout System, there’s no invoicing data.

Unused contacts are removed faster in the Tryout System:

  • all contacts that have never been used and have been in the system for at least one week, will be removed.

  • all contacts which have been used in the past but were not linked to an active registration in the last 2 weeks, will also be removed.

If you want to test Registrant verification, you can create a contact with the following data:

The contact is created with status ‘Not verified’. When a domain name is registered with this contact, registrant verification checks are done and both contact and domain name are marked as selected for verification.

If you want to test the whole process of registrant verification, you can ask our Support team to approve a contact.

Test tools[Link]

DNS Belgium provides an EPP GUI to test EPP transactions.

Important

Please don’t use real client data in the Tryout System, this might result in unwanted e-mails going to your client which might confuse him/her.
